An English academic writing about the founding and development of Freemasonry in America?
Might seem a bit surprising to some, but when Dr. Ric Berman suggested this title to coincide with the founding of the United States of America, I (and the Lewis Masonic publishing committee) thought it was a very good idea indeed. You see, an outside view can be a fresh one and comes without influences or bias.
I personally have a great love of America and its positive ideals, and feel that Freemasonry has been at the core of its development from the start. Thus, you can imagine how happy I was to publish this work from a great friend, ally, and respected academic and past Prestonian lecturer.
The Lewis editing and design team really spent time on this and the result stands for itself.
I very much like how the cover features two American Masonic Heroes stating side by side. Do you recognise them?
