I have a had a few messages from people who have had an email from “Mason John Martin” or from “Mason Martin Faulkes”.
The message contains a message from a lawyer who was also a Mason and gives information about a Brother whose name was shown as “Mason xyz. This Brother had apparently died and this lawyer was tasked with sorting out his estate, the receivers name appeared in the departed Brother’s contacts list.
I’m sure we’re all familiar with the content of these types of emails!
Please be aware that these messages are nothing to do with me. It’s just a silly email scam using names of well-known masons.
